Business card printing firm Quickcard were stuck using a legacy system to control their order management and struggled with importing data across a number of systems to control reporting and invoicing needs. With unique taxing and other custom needs, an off the shelf solution was deemed inappropriate from the outset.
Spending time planning the project and getting a defined brief from the client was essential to create a roadmap for work. Our research found areas that the existing systems flawed in, and where we could fill the gaps effectively.
We then created a secure, user friendly database that fulfilled order management, labour management, finance, invoice and reporting needs. Coupled with user training, the Quickcard team were able to reduce negative cash flow periods and manage 100’s of print jobs each day.
